Green Tea is a semi-oxidized or non-oxidized tea. The processing method determines the level of oxidation. Green tea is most popularly grown in China, Japan and Taiwan. It is becoming increasingly popular to grow in India and Sri Lanka, as well as parts of Africa. Green tea is considered one of the healthiest kinds of teas because it has high concentrates of the amino acid L-Theanin, an adaptogen that stimulates the part of the brain that calms and simultaneously the part of the brain that calms.
Gunpowder is a rolled green tea from China, originally called Pearl tea by the Chinese until early European traders linked it to gunpowder pellets.
Directions: 1 level teaspoon per 200ml water. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Use medium hot water over boiling. For traditional way boil all ingredients on a stove.
