Honeybush is a herbal tea from the Fynbos plant Kingdom of South Africa. Indigenous tribes of Southern Africa who first used Honeybush thousands of years ago, associated it with the sweet vital force of life.

Grown along the coast of the Western Cape of South Africa, our Honeybush is kissed by sea mist. This lends to a unique crisp, deep and ever-so-sweet flavour.

Our Honeybush is grown along the Overberg coast of South Africa. Biodynamic farming methods are used, creating a diversified and balanced ecosystem, contributing to better plant and soil conditions as well as adaptation to climate change. These practices benefit the entire plant community and allow it to thrive. This results in a Premium Quality, Organic product. The farms we work with are part of community development initiatives.

The Bumble Bee is the only insect that can pollinate Honeybush plants as it has the perfect weight to open the petals. Indigenous tribes of South Africa believed bees to be sacred, the wise “little people” who protected the secrets of life. It can be likened to being a sister plant to Rooibos and cannot be grown anywhere else in the world.
